Crafted from premium materials, the Onyx Mini is a full-featured, portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers signature Harman Kardon sound and design. Its rechargeable battery plays for ten hours while the compact form allows you to take it from room to room. The Wireless Dual Sound feature allows you to connect wirelessly with another Onyx Mini or Wireless Dual Sound compatible speaker which will double the sound output and elevate your music listening experience. Can the Onyx mini be charged with anything other than the mini usb? the port on the unit has become loose and will not charge...unit is 1 year old.

Can you connect multiple minis for a stero sound in a room?

Unfortunately not, wireless dual sound, can only play the full signal, which contains both left and right channels in both speakers.

can I connect a Onyx Studio 2 with Onyx Mini?

When one Onyx Mini is connected using the input jack, will it still connect to a second Onyx Mini for Dual Sound. Or, does one Mini have to be connected via bluetooth to get the Dual Sound to function? Thnx!

Can I turn the bluetooth off if I am connecting a tablet to the onyx via aux cord? If not, how do I lock the bluetooth to only connect to one device so that I can play music uninterrupted?

Unfortunately, locking the Bluetooth to one device is not possible due to the limitations of Bluetooth. Bluetooth keeps on playing, even if you connect something and play to the AUX input. Bluetooth keeps on playing, since it has first priority. If you pause or stop Bluetooth , any source playing to the AUX input will now be heard. What I would advice in this case is if you really want the bluetooth devices not play is to reset the Onyx mini. To do that, press and hold the "Handsfree" ( phone ) button, together with the Volume+ button for >3 seconds, until the unit powers off. This way. all the bluetooth devices registered under the Onyx mini would be deleted ,allowing you to enjoy bluetooth free music.

When I connect the Onyx Mini to my laptop, as soon as I try to playback music from let's say Spotify, it disconnects, and in the driver manager, "HK Onyx Mini Earphones" show up as default and the speaker is disconnected. I share internet via smartphone
