There's no way to say that a subwoofer is "too slow" for quality music, or that because the satellite speakers are not full range ( which most satellite speakers that are part of a surround set aren't ) causes the drum and/or bass line to be muddled. This is very dependent on which receiver is used, which equalizing settings, and the quality of the audio stream itself. So, I would only suggest that, instead of following a review, you should order the HKTS 9 set, and test it for yourself. Audio quality is as good as one perceives it, what sounds perfect for one person, may not be the quality someone else is expecting. I would also like to inform you that, when you order products directly from Harman, you will have 30 days return right, so if you don't like the quality, you can contact our customer support, and we will arrange that you can send your product back, for a full refund.
