I got an Onyx studio for Christmas a couple of years ago.I couldn't deal with it turning off back then, but have now revisited it. It just turns off by itself, pairs okay and plays for about 4 sec. and then turns off. What to do? It simply never worked!

Tried to pair with my two phones and it is not even discoverable in either phone. Can you reset the speaker? Also connected to my pc for firmware update and it doesn't show up on my computer.

Let's try to troubleshoot your Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5. Before attempting to do a reset, we suggest pairing the speaker to your phone by pressing on the Bluetooth button on the speaker — once you see the light blink fast, turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and let it discover the speaker and connect to it. If you are still unable to discover the speaker by doing this, you can reset it by pressing and holding the Volume + and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds while the speaker is on. The speaker will then power off, letting you know that it is reset back to its factory default settings. When you turn the speaker on after doing a reset, it should automatically go into pairing mode. Follow the steps above once you see the light blinking to try and pair your phone again. Also, it's good to know that the service port is only used by our authorized service centers for performing an update when there is one available. As of now, there is no software update for the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5 speaker. Sometimes I can't connect to it (no matter which phone am I using), however it works just fine after I restart the product. Is this normal?

Hi Feketegabi, thanks for asking. Please make sure that you press the Bluetooth button on the speaker when you're trying to connect a different phone or device to it so that it would be on pairing mode. It can also be that the the speaker is connected with a previous paired/connected device that's why it can't connect readily to a different one.

I recently purchased this speaker and I love the sound. I unpaired the speaker and now it's not being discoverable. What can I do.

Hi there, please try to put the Onyx studio 5 in pairing mode by pressing and holding the bluetooth button for 3-5 seconds until the light flashes, then go to your phone's setting and you'll be able to discover and pair it to your phone.

Can a pair an Onyx Studio 3 with an Onyx Studio 5? I'm not able to but I'm not sure whether it's a pairing issue or not something that's meant to work.

Hi there, thanks for asking. The Dual Wireless Sound featured in the Onyx Studio 5 only gives you the capability to connect to a second Onyx Studio 5. It is not possible to connect the Onyx Studio 3 and 5 together. The Onyx Studio 5 can only be connected to no more than one other Onyx Studio 5.

Hi there, the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5 can be paired with your Amazon speaker.Just make sure you put the Onyx studio 5 into pairing mode by pressing and holding the bluetooth button for 3-5 seconds.

I was told at sprint that this speaker is waterproof? But im not seeing that said about it anywhere else was i lied to? Cause i really wanna tale this bad boy to the river.
