Dazzlingly realistic sound meets stunning visual design

Beautiful sound requires no wires. For nearly 60 years, Harman Kardon® engineers have designed some of the world’s most sought-after speaker and amplification systems for home and car audio – including the SoundSticks® 2.1-channel desktop speakers, the only audio system to become a permanent fixture at the New York City Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). In a continuing effort to make their best even better, Harman Kardon engineers have now upgraded that same work of art into a wireless incarnation: the SoundSticks Wireless. Stepping up its ability to deliver exceptional audio in a beautiful package, the SoundSticks Wireless features a six-inch (160-millimeter) subwoofer, eight full-range drivers, 40 watts of amplification, touch controls for volume and muting, and a 1/8-inch (3.5-millimeter) audio connection for compatibility to various devices – and it also has the added benefit of integrated Bluetooth® technology. So whether you’re working away at your desk or comfortably lounging on the sofa across the room, you can still experience the same breathtaking sound from music, movies, games and podcasts from any Bluetooth-enabled device – be it your phone, tablet, MP3 player or computer. The SoundSticks Wireless is truly performance at its finest.

SoundSticks Wireless is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 90.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and connectivity Saw and, more importantly, heard these at a friend of my daughter's house. Those were the standard wired version. However, I bought the wireless speakers to easily and conveniently connect both my phone and my Akai BT500 turntable. Pairing is a snap, switching devices predictably can be an issue until you get used to it. More down to the fact that to connect the turntable requires a power cycle of the speakers, no big deal and more down to the turntable than the speakers. Pleased with the sound, I'm no audiophile but the depth and both bass and volume control are great allowing fine tuning to suit the track and listening requirements. Although relatively secondary the styling is awesome, bass unit is proudly on display rather than hidden on the floor as suggested. Means that the lead length for the tweeters is better anyway. Build quality is good, both bass unit and tweeters have suitable heft. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money well spent!!! I bought this just over two weeks ago and its safe to say as the title says its money well spent. Its easy to assemble. The sound quality for such a small system is incredible either by just playing music on it or having it go through the gaming system.Would without question recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In a social media world - OMG WOW I had looked at purchasing a music centre that not only sounded superb but looks amazing. I had initially considered a valve amp for both its warmth of sound and the wow factor of their appearance. Then I saw a friend who had one of the HK wireless soundstick set ups. I thought the price would be considerably more but was as astounded at the price as I was at the sound quality. I stream via the BlueTooth from both phone and tablet and have also played via the hardwired 3.5mm jack. Bass is so refined and even at low volume, the wash of the bass across the room is amazing. Like being hit by a feather pillow and then thumped by a boxing glove for the mid-range. High end cymbal crashes are effortlessly emitted without fracture. Vocals dance around the room, leaving you forever wondering how such an open sound can be produced from the soundsticks themselves. I've tested with Rock, Jazz, Classical and thumping Dance tracks and yet to find a flaw. The biggest dilemma you’ll have? Do they look more beautiful than they sound or sound more beautiful than they look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My brain is melting! This is my second set of SoundSticks. My previous set had travelled with me to Africa and back and I swear they were the greatest speakers I had ever owned until now! They really do knock your socks off!

Is there an alternative AUX plug in the Wireless instead of Bluetooth (for devices that don't support Bluetooth). Bluetooth connectivity between the sticks and the woofer and AUX from the woofer to the device ?

Asked by: mata
The Soundsticks Wireless can only be linked to an audio source via Bluetooth. It has no provision for a wired auxiliary input.

If my television has a Bluetooth function (panasonic), can the speaker connected to my television with Bluetooth?

Asked by: otto or
Yes, if your television can connect to bluetooth speakers then it could definitely connect to the soundsticks wireless but please expect latency when playing videos, as our wireless speakers are designed more on audio and not necessarily video.
