Dazzlingly realistic sound meets stunning visual design

Beautiful sound requires no wires. For nearly 60 years, Harman Kardon® engineers have designed some of the world’s most sought-after speaker and amplification systems for home and car audio – including the SoundSticks® 2.1-channel desktop speakers, the only audio system to become a permanent fixture at the New York City Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). In a continuing effort to make their best even better, Harman Kardon engineers have now upgraded that same work of art into a wireless incarnation: the SoundSticks Wireless. Stepping up its ability to deliver exceptional audio in a beautiful package, the SoundSticks Wireless features a six-inch (160-millimeter) subwoofer, eight full-range drivers, 40 watts of amplification, touch controls for volume and muting, and a 1/8-inch (3.5-millimeter) audio connection for compatibility to various devices – and it also has the added benefit of integrated Bluetooth® technology. So whether you’re working away at your desk or comfortably lounging on the sofa across the room, you can still experience the same breathtaking sound from music, movies, games and podcasts from any Bluetooth-enabled device – be it your phone, tablet, MP3 player or computer. The SoundSticks Wireless is truly performance at its finest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double WoW! I have to say that this equipment not only looks absolutely fantastic but perfoms perfectly. Extremely powerful system complimented by the sub woofer. It is possible to alter the balance between the sub woofer and stereo speakers which provide excellent top end performance. There are no controls to alter the treble and bass but this has not been a problem to my ear. Bluetooth connectivity is superb and is supplemented by a 3.5mm jack plug to allow you to connect other devices. I love it.

How to prevent neighbor to connect my harman kardon?

Asked by: cyw789988
Unfortunately, you can't set a password for the SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS to prevent unwanted users from connecting to it. Alternative solutions are, you can either turn off the unit while you are not using it or keep your source connected to it at all times. You could also ask your neighbor to "forget" the SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS from their list of Bluetooth "My Devices".

I'm experiencing intermittent connection. The sounds good but each 20 sec, music get interrupted. Is there a way to minimize those lost of bluetooth signal?

Asked by: Lionel
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing intermittent connection with your SoundSticks Wireless. There is a high chance that it is due to EMI (electro-magnetic interference) which disrupts wireless Bluetooth connection. To prevent this, you may try distancing the speaker from other wireless devices (e.g. Wi-Fi router ) or use a aux cable for source connection. I noticed that you are located in Spain. If the issue persists, please contact the store where you purchased it and they will be able to help, or at least guide you to the people that can.

Hello! I would like to confirm if my old laptop bluetooth supports the connectivity with the HK wireless Soundsticks. It's a Toshiba of 2011 with Windows 7. Is A2DP required? Thank you in advance!

Asked by: Tommy_87
Yes, Bluetooth is backwards compatible. For SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS to work, you'll just need to find a Bluetooth driver that supports A2DP Audio codec. For further assistance, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html for information regarding your warranty options and technical support, thank you!

The Soundsticks just keep skipping when playing songs, I have deleted the device from my bluetooth devices list several times (I have a Mac Book Pro). I have added and paired again, when its in the floor not even a meter away the problem starts.

Is there a way to connect to smart tv by Bluetooth and control the audio from the Tv?

Asked by: yishaif
SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS require A2DP and AVRCP in order to connect with Bluetooth enabled devices. We advice you to check this settings by contacting the manufacturer of your TV. There is no way to control the volume of the SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS remotely. You might be able to adjust settings in the TV so that you can set the SOUNDSTICKS level at X point and then adjust the volume using the TV volume control.
