Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement for unit purchased in 1969 I purchased a Harman Kardon amp in early 1969. It lost a channel in late 2016, which prompted this purchase. Excellent unit then and now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I got this for Christmas to replace an old 70's receiver. Surprisingly good sound. Pushes my 120 watt speakers with ease. Love having a remote and the display an extra bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for vinyl! Using this and a turntable for a trip down memory lane with vinyl. First remote they shipped had exploded batteries in it, but they shipped a new one with one phone call.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm. I bought this as a replacement for my NAD and I couldn't be happier. It came packaged great and worked perfectly out of the box. Sounds great and has a sleek interface. Would definitely buy this again.

1. Is this receiver able to play from my spotify library? If yes, how? Through my phone/tablet, or stream directly from Spotify server? 2. What do I loose with no optical inputs just analog only? DAC will solve, but what "extra" do I loose?

Asked by: grindlock
So reciever can not contatct to Spotify, but I should plug with eg. my phone with analog cable?

Too bad the USB capability is so limited. If the USB supported standard audio USB drivers so I could use it for input from my computer system I would have bought one of these.

Asked by: todji
I can play from my laptop through the DLNA Interface. Works great.

How will this device work with a set of Daulquist DQ 10's?

Asked by: Mouse
The HK 3700 can drive power of up to 85W at 8-ohms. While the Dahlquist DQ10 can handle power up to 200W at 8-ohms. It will work fine, but the HK 3700 may not have enough power to drive the speaker’s full potential.

How the bass is managed when I plug a subwoofer, all the low frequencies will be managed ONLY by the subwoofer ? Or the low frequencies will be equally played by the subwoofer AND the main speaker? There is a crossover option?

Asked by: Basshead
The low frequencies will be managed by the sub only, it will not be equally played through the other speakers. There is no crossover option to use for the HK3700.
