Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb for Drum & Bass. I bought these factory refurbished speakers for my birthday, they cost £90 and they are like brand new. I was listening to Drum & Bass through my TV before I purchased these and all i could hear is drums and very little bass...these speakers solved that problem and they look and sound very good...buy them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looks, sound, and price. I bought these speakers about a year ago. These speakers for a room can get very loud. Beautiful design and also amazing sound for the price. Honestly, way better than any desktop speakers for the price.

Hey, am I able to use this with my phone (iPhone 6s) ??

Asked by: Jenskp
Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, the Soundsticks 3 has an analog cable attached to it, so you can easily connect it to your iPhone 6S. If you need more information please contact us at customer.service@harman.com

Hi is there a way to buy the satellite cable or satellite separately? the pins on satellite cable (which connects satellite to the subwoofer) are bent and is there anyway this can repaired / replaced?

Asked by: fiendfyre
take a pair of strong tweezers or really small needle nose pliers and very carefully straighten each pin one at a time. be careful not to bend them around too much as that will stress the pin at the spot where it is bent and possibly break the pin off. (then you have a real problem) just don't keep moving them around and over correcting. do it once, and do it right. also, if you can get them fairly close to straight, it might help to very carefully insert the plug back into the socket and they will self align. just try to avoid having to connect / disconnect the plug in the future whenever possible cuz that just leads to more stress on th already stressed out pins. or take it to somewhere like radio shack and im sure they wouldn't mind taking a look at it.

Hi! Which option is the best, higher volume in the sound source and lower in the speakers or vice versa? Thanks

Asked by: Rafa
full volume on source device. adjust listening volume on playback or "amplified" device. (Sound Sticks)

I have a set of Soundsticks III plugged into iMac, via 3.5mm, that go into stand-by mode when on low volume for 5-10 minutes. Is this by design or can I do something to stop it happening? I have to turn the volume up in iTunes to boot them up again

Asked by: ben0205
Hi. Yes, this is by design. All products sold within the EU must comply with EuP-regulations, specifying that without audio or button presses, the product must switch off within about 10 minutes. It is an energy-saving measure. Since this system is triggered by a threshold sensor, you may find that very low audio output may not be enough to keep the speakers active. The correct way of using this kind of speaker is to turn the volume on the source device to maximum, then control listening volume on the Soundsticks themselves. You may still experience cutouts if the signal becomes very low for some minutes, but as you mention, the speakers will switch on again when signal resumes.

I understand the speakers will shut down when no audio, but will they start back up again when audio is resumed? Thinking of pairing these with an Echo Dot, so will be on 24/7, and need to be able to resume on audio to work with it properly.

Asked by: Jamesfrgrgrh
Hi James, After 10 minutes with no signal received, the HK SoundSticks will go into Standby Mode. In these first 10 minutes you can wake up the Soundsticks by Bluetooth or AUX input. After the 10 minutes, the Soundsticks will go into Sleep mode, where only a signal on AUX input will wake up the Soundsticks, but not on Bluetooth. Hi there. Are the Harman Kardon Soundsticks iii Computer Speaker System wireless too?

Asked by: Pmosh
The SOUNDSTICKS III is not wireless since it does not have the Bluetooth feature unlike the SOUNDSTICKS WIRELESS.

My Soundstick recently started misbehaving: at power up, volume is at minimum, and touching "+" alone mutes (but doesn't unmute!). Powering off and on I managed a few times to get some sound and working touch buttons, but not for long. Any idea?

Asked by: SteevyNix
You may try grounding yourself while you change the volume. The SOUNDSTICKS III's volume buttons are capacitance touch sensors. If you have the unit plugged into the same surge protector as fluorescent lamp or similar, that may cause the issue. I noticed that you are in Canada. If the issue persists, you may contact our Canadian partner, Erikson Consumer via email at info@eriksonconsumer.com or by phone at (514) 457-6674.
